AsyncAPI Conference San Jose 2026 in February
like in case of https://github.com/asyncapi/community/issues/2102
We will have AsyncAPI track and booth at DeveloperWeek in https://conference.asyncapi.com/venue/California: 18-20.02.2026
We will have:
- one full day of AsyncAPI-related talks (1 day)
- booth space throughout the whole event (3 days)
I'm creating this issue 3 months before the event as stated in travel expenses procedure: https://github.com/asyncapi/community/pulls
Possible travel sponsorship
We have enough money in budget to sponsor:
- travel of @thulieblack
- travel of one more, or two more community members depending of course where they will fly from. Travel procedure explain how much money we can offer to reimburse costs
Help needed
We need the help of people from below groups: @asyncapi/ambassadors @asyncapi/maintainers @asyncapi/tsc_members @asyncapi/governance-board
For sure @thulieblack will be there but this is a 3day long event, with one day of AsyncAPI conference and 3 days of API Standards booth - so we will need volunteers onsite to help.
Of course if your company sponsors your travel, it is even better. We will get you a free ticket to the conference, so do not worry about this part.
@derberg @fmvilas @thulieblack I am interested to take part as a volunteer for the onsite,
@AayushSaini101 do you have visa already?
Hi @derberg as per our discussion before, i would love to be volunteer and MC the event (if thats possible) as i already have the visa. Let me know if you need anything else from my side, looking forward to this ☺️

@AayushSaini101 do you have visa already?
No, i don't have visa currently but i can start the process from now
@AayushSaini101 Actually, I’m also planning to volunteer, but the problem is that the U.S. visa process takes quite a long time, and we need a buffer of around two months to accommodate other members in case our visa gets rejected. That’s the reason it’s not feasible for us right now.
