@icolwell-as Will astuff_sensor_msgs be released in foxy, galactic and rolling?

Hi @wep21, The msg packages defined here are already available on foxy. Note that the astuff_sensor_msgs meta-package has been deprecated, but all other packages remain.

We do intend to utilize the new rolling release mechanism, my understanding of it was that anything already existing in foxy would automatically appear in rolling.

I guess any packages existing in rolling automatically appear in galactic, so you have to release rolling version via bloom-release. https://discourse.ros.org/t/ros-2-galactic-beta-and-call-for-testing/20234

Are there any current plans to release astuff_sensor_msgs for humble? That would be great as it would especially simplify the use of the carla_ros_bridge in combination with current ros2 distributions, as @CagriCatik already mentioned.

Hi @gkueppers , I'll see if I can release it this week, shouldn't be too complicated. Humble is still not something we "officially" support, but we're slowly moving in that direction, and in general, if someone asks, we try our best to deliver. I'll try to sort out the rolling release too, thanks for the reminders!
