Arma 3 is not letting me join any official server

I downloaded the Ares mod and Community Based Addons from the steam workshop but now Arma 3 won't let me join any official server, how can I fix this?

You can only join servers that have a server key to accept the mod, or has mod signature checking disabled.

You'll have to disable to mod to join an official server.

Wow. I cannot believe they even tried to join an official server with ANY mods loaded. WOW.
