As for your bug, this is a known thing with YATA+ and also happens with Themely and CHMM2 as far as I know. Try using Looping Audio Converter instead.

@astronautlevel2 thanks, but i know that some of the themes i made or modified utilize looping audio converter and none of those work. i also tried re-converting one again with one of my existing themes just in case and it doesn't work, unless i'm doing something wrong

themely used to have that issue but it was fixed eventually regardless of how the audio was converted. i believe this was the commit unless i'm mistaken (but it was definitely fixed somewhere if not there): https://github.com/ihaveamac/Themely/commit/498543dfaecdcc2b55047e982706e7b129b808d8

Dumping themes has been implemented as of a266203a9287358ece5f76e6c32fc0c4790ba8e6.

This should be possible to do that by detecting where luma3ds is booted from this feature and install to ctrnand if luma was booted from ctrnand (or firm0?)
