Unable to load background images

Hi, I'm trying to add an image, but as soon as it's loaded I get the error:

[11116:0603/195856.926757:ERROR:gl_utils.cc(315)] [.WebGL-0x3ea00cc2900] GL_INVALID_VALUE: Offset overflows texture dimensions.

The small preview is correctly shown.

I'm in Linux Mint:
