How should I interpret missing system?

Hi,

I am mining photometry of SN IIns from OSC. Many data do not have 'system' specified. Do you have any suggestion how to interpret them as 'AB', 'Vega', or else?

Hey @bkornpob, if it’s not labeled then we don’t know which system it is; this is because authors sometimes don’t bother to provide that information. In general, uppercase band names are Vega and lowercase (e.g. SDSS) are AB, but that’s not always true and it’s best to glance at the original sources.

If you do find the system for a given source and we haven’t marked it, it would be great to let us know!
