Bug in water consumption
The problem
I got a Miele WWR860WPS since a few months. With your integration, i successfully integrated the machine into home assistant.
For monitoring the water consumption of the washing machine, i tried to create a helper from type utility meter. Sadly it doesn't work correctly. The helper counts correct during the washing, but at the start-moment of the washing machine, i found an bug:
At the start (time 05:50): There is a small peak (needle) of 30L! Before and after the peak, it goes down to zero! Btw: 30L is the complete water consumption of the washing run before! Then water consumption increase until 8:30 (end of this run) -> OK. After that, i startet a second washing run at 8:39. As you can see: Here comes also a small short needle with the height of the washing run before (74L). Afterwards water consumption starts increasing from zero -> OK
Because of that, my utility meter helper is not working. He also counts the peaks as a consumption.
Is there any way to fix this or is it just fixable by Miele?

I have the same issues with two different appliances for water and power consumption (dishwasher and washing machine).
same here - power consumtion entity not working for two devices (dryer, washing machine)
Same issue here with a G7113 dishwasher....
Apparently my peak is there for about 10 seconds, before dropping to 0 again - and then the "real" consumption starts to show up..
This is with integration build 2024.8.1
