Cannot execute rm -f filepath : Permission denied

I just started ocamlfuse with google drive. I am facing an issue while deleting files on the mounted drive using the ubuntu terminal. The error message I get is: rm: cannot remove 'filename': Permission denied

When I try to delete the file using my file manager, it works. So I am quite perplexed.
