Shared with me content

Shared with me content #282 has been closed for a few years, but I have questions.

I just installed this in the past hour, so I'm a novice here.

Perhaps I'm blind, but I can't find the web interface mentioned in the answer.

The alternate approach adding shared_with_me=true gets read-only access.

For what I want to do I need write access. I hope that's been added since Mar 2017

Google removed "Add to My Drive" and replaced it with "Add shortcut to Drive". Have you tried that way? Note that if you haven't already done so, first you have to update to the latest version.

I can access the shared folder after "Add to My Drive" and copy from it but I cannot write to it. I can create folder and write using the web interface. I am running the beta from ppa on Ubuntu 18.04

Did you ever figure this out by any chance? I'm having the same problem. When I mount my drive, all of the "Add shortcut to Drive" folders show up as broken symbolic links. When I fixed one I could get to everything in it, but couldn't actually write anything like I can using the web interface.
