Almost. Except #1980 only mentions the infobox. I turned off the infobox by disabling the wikipedia engine but the links-box is still there.

I think I would prefer if the search results would fill up the space where currently the boxes are.

The screenshot is an example how it could look like. The boxes disappear if the browser-window is small enough. 

I have the same issue with conda-environments.
