Hi Prateek,

Currently, you need to do this manually: go through each component in a window and check for its text.

It is a very nice feature to have! Can you please file an issue? I'm currently in bug-fixing mode for the beta1 release next month. I'll try my best to squeeze this feature in, but I can't promise it since I have time constraints too.

Thanks!

Hi Alex,

I am using FEST for Swing GUI testing.
I am able to do all the click, enterText, selectItem operations successfully. But stuck in verification part.
Could you please let me know how to find if a particular text is present on a frame or dialog using FEST. I mean, is there any API available in FEST like isTextPresent in Selenium which is test automation tool for web application testing. Please let me know.

Thanks in advance,
Prateek
