The transport in v1 was a custom protocol. v3 uses grpc. I don't have more details on the reported error. It requires investigation. This is likely somewhere in the client....

You can deploy it on digitalocean using this 1-click deployment [here](https://marketplace.digitalocean.com/apps/micro?refcode=1eb1b2aca272&action=deploy). Services should be started back up after micro starts again. There's no instance scaling unless you're running on k8s.
