Add tracking features

Asie, How difficult would it be to add a way to track how many people download a modpack via the launcher? I was thinking something along the lines of track the number of full downloads (for seeing how many new players you're getting), and also the number of updates done (perhaps per IP, so that a playerbase can be tracked).
