Blurry pdf rendering

I'm used to Okular as a PDF renderer. Unfortunately, this project does not support Okular, so I tried to use instead the bundled pdf viewer. Unfortunately compared to Okular the output is not sharp at all and is quite blurry. This makes the PDF quite hard to read. The effect is even more visible when the PDF is zoomed out:

I am having equally disturbing results. @ashthespy is it possible to include another pdf viewer into the toolchain of atom-Latex?
