ZFS support?

Although it may be out of the scope of what you're doing with this project, I feel like it may not be so difficult, to implement ZFS support. Is it something you consider?

I started working on ZFS (for BSDs) a while ago bit but did not spend much time on it. Is this something you can are interested to tackle and contribute to the project?
