This is not really a bug but I wasn't sure how to categorize.

There doesn't appear to be any documentation on the :ash_domains configuration option. You do get a warning if they are missing, but I can't find anywhere that explains what it actual does. I would love to contribute a PR but I still haven't figured it out :)

A good explanation from James:

It’s used by a lot of extensions and mix tasks to find all the domains and resources without having to load all the modules in your app and search for spark artefacts (sparkefacts?).

This would be a good one for someone to tackle ❤️
