thermostat entities not created

From the README.md:

Separate entity climate.THERMOSTAT_NAME will be created for every thermostat.

This didn't happen on my installation.

Each thermostat will be registered as a separate device. Also one device will be registered for entire system.

These two happened.

Did I misunderstand / miss something?
