e2e http tests do not stop

e2e tests merged by commit c682c2103d6e10d4c65903f541703af2abfdbf55 do not terminate after several hours on my Mac (10.12.5). @davidjsherman I plan to disable them for now, as anyway we have new ones in development for the new switch, ok for you?

As agreed with @davidjsherman , these have been disabled for now (commit 84f1a55).
