Can this be more web designer friendly?
As a UX person who spends some time working on the front-end, I think some of these items on the list would have big implications on the way designers work, like accessibility and such, but I'm not sure... Our community is rather uneducated on these matters. Are there items on this list you can make more designer-friendly, like maybe drilling down the outline more, or including resources?
Thanks @mallory-box!
I agree that some of these could have the potential to impact how a designer works. The more I've thought about it, I see so many correlations between these ideas and the field of UX. This site is based on the content of a series of free digital books that will be published by O'Reilly over the next year or so. I've only just started the (messy) writing process, so I haven't gotten too deep yet, but the content will definitely be expanded and include resources. I'll also plan to expand this site as I continue to write.
All of that said, I'm not a designer and would really appreciate contributions and feedback from designers! I plan on soliciting feedback from my design friends and colleagues, but would love more from a wider group. So, if these things interest you or any designers you may know, please feel encouraged to provide feedback or even contribute/improve content. You can do that through either of these GitHub repos, Twitter , or even email.
Thanks for reaching out, it means a lot!
