Support different HTTP protocol versions

Let the user choose the HTTP version to use for the request: 1.0/1.1/2.

AFAIK, Go always uses HTTP/1.1. You can't use 1.0.

According to the docs it is possible to choose between HTTP 1.1 and 2 if using HTTPS. However, when using HTTP only version 1.1 is supported.

Should we move on with this?
