Request - open multiple instances side-by-side, split window

I do a lot of HA monitoring and having multiple sessions open to one system is common. Having 2 side by side is very helpful. Having 4 visible at the same time is probably ideal for me.

For this, I use Terminator. It can open another terminal in the same window that's split either horizontally or vertically and it will let you keep splitting till you can't see anything useful. But you can.

Having a few Terminator windows open with 4 sessions to the same host is a common thing for many people I work with.

Having some of those Terminator features in Asbru would be really nice. Apology if there's already something like that in Asbru, I haven't found it.

You can indeed either split a window horizontally or vertically but it is apparently not possible to split it horizontally and then again, vertically.

Looks a bit complicated to me at this stage but this would be for sure a nice enhancement ; if one can propose a pull request for this, it will be greatly appreciated :)

You can put the connections in a cluster, then in the "Power Cluster Controller" (or PCC for short) "Explode" or "ReTab" the cluster. It will put each connection in its' own window, which is not exactly what you're asking for but might cover your use case. Perhaps in connection with multiple workspaces.

It would be nicer though, to get the connections inside one tab/window. Especially since the default sizing of the "exploded" windows are a bit off. Seems the width/height of the window frame is not considered.

I think that mimicing the behavior of Terminator in this matter would be ideal. Easy splitting/resizing using hotkeys is awesome.

I'd love to see this feature as well. Sending commands to a lot of servers using PCC is great, but having to go through each tab afterwards is tedious. Being able to monitor multiple sessions at one time is something I miss from MobaXTerm on Windows or SecureCRT.
