Ardour can't save anymore the project after opening the GUI of Dexed

I have a weird problem with Dexed and Ardour 5.12 under Ubuntu. The problem concerns both the LV2 and VST versions. The symptom is the following : I can instantiate Dexed and play it, but if I open its GUI to edit whatever parameter, then Ardour cannot anymore save the project (Ctrl+S or from the menu), and there is no error message in the console ! I didn't found any workaround, even removing Dexed from the track is not enough to restore this function. When you quit Ardour, it asks you if you want to save or just quit, if you choose to save it tells you that Ardour was not able to save the project.

I have this problem with a current project of mine, but I was not able however to reproduce it straightaway with a blank project. All the other VST and LV2 synths I have work fine in my current project, so I am little bit puzzled.

Does Ardour write something if you launch it from a terminal? Using Ardour 5.12 + Dexed 0.9.4 I can't reproduce this behavior.
