macOS window placement & movement issue (and solution): standalone version

in macOS you can drag windows around by all edges, so it is common for some of us to move windows 95% or more off the desktop to temporarily clean up some space. With dexed, I noticed (only happened once and am trying to recreate it, you can drag it off so far that you can't drag it back on, because you can't get to a dragable part of the window. The only dragable part is the top menu bar, unlike other windows that have a dragable location at all points.

If this happens (at least in OSX 10.12), you can go into System Preferences > Displays > Resolution and set the resolution to scaled and choose an option that brings the dexed window back into the desktop more, and from there move it around until it stays where you want it. Took me a while to figure this out.

At some point when working on the macOS window components, it might be good to add dragable edges, but for the moment, this work.

Really enjoying having dexed. Today I'll try to hook it up to my TX81Z and see if I can up/down load anything.

Do you have a specific plugin that can do this ? For the plugins I have, I cannot drag windows from the edges; I have macOS 10.11, does it have the same behavior ?

You really have to work to get this effect on 10.13.4. (High Sierra) It seems to depend on the DAW being used. Some DAWs will nudge the window back in a little so you can grab it, others will re-centre it using windows menu etc.
