I've encountered this issue somewhat, where the torrent is stuck on "Checking" but never really checks it. But, when I pause the torrent, then resume, then it starts checking.

Again, when I have a torrent that is downloading, and some boxes are checked and others not, the default behaviour for clicking on the check box next to the torrent...

I'm so sorry. I thought maybe that would be turned on by default and I didn't think to look for that option in the new beta.

@parg, Could you please consider making this turned on by default: to periodically restart downloads that appear to have missing files? This recently happened again, where I started BiglyBT before...

ok, with sparse files turned on, biglybt isn't allocating anymore. Ok, thanks.

I'm wrong - BiglyBT does allocate, but it happens after a torrent starts up after being queued, or when biglybt restarts.
