Yes. We would need to store that information, as you said, and make sure that the pod is terminated later.
I think this should be done across elastic agent plugins, and not just for this. But, it is a valid problem. /cc @prateekbaheti @SanjanaB @sheroy Thoughts?
@varshavaradarajan said it should be done on the downloads page too. Using the date from releases.json. That makes sense. Will do that tomorrow. Don't merge.
There is no way to not have the GoCD agent be involved at all, since it is what knows how to send logs back securely, etc. It will be needed...
