Duplicate file names within a torrent

I believe libtorrent would correctly handle the error if the torrent contained duplicate file names (though I didn't test it on purpose). However, in the Issue referenced above, it seems that libtorrent itself produces duplicate filenames when it replaces invalid characters.
https://github.com/qbittorrent/qBittorrent/issues/19280#issuecomment-1621484992 is also related.

How is it? Is this problem also ignored? Is it not considered as something that you should pay attention to?
I believe this problem has been fixed in RC_2_0 and may have been released in some 2.0.x even
I believe that there should at least be a corresponding test for this kind of torrent.
