I believe that's intended behavior, as long as the system as a whole stays responsive.

yeah, it's not obvious why memory would be evicted to swap file. Surely the memory mapped files opened by libtorrent would be evicted directly to the destination file. I suppose...

@diizzyy you could also try setting the `close_file_interval` to something non-zero, to force close + flush files periodically.
