I've checked and the extension works by just updating the metadata, aside from one problem - the icon is missing: image

How do I update metadata? I love this extension, I use it daily. I'm using Fedora 38, would appreciate help.

I've found a simpler solution, just do

gsettings set org.gnome.shell disable-extension-version-validation true

Which disables extension version validation, so Gnome Extensions will let you enable it without any modification
