Where to order the assembly?

Open dumblob opened this issue 2 years ago • 3 comments

I wonder which manufacturers do have the hirose (or compatible) connector in their library so they can assemble it for me (I do not want to solder it myself).

Any tips?

It seems JLCPCB does no have them. But I did not ask about substitues yet (I did not compare if they are dimensions compatible):

BM14B(0.8)-24DS-0.4V(53) Hirose Electric Co Ltd 654 H122178CT-ND €1.40000 Direct BM10NB(0.8)-24DS-0.4V(51) Hirose Electric Co Ltd 14,704 H11825CT-ND €0.92000 Direct BM20B(0.8)-24DS-0.4V(51)

(see these alternative substitutes at the bottom of https://www.digikey.nl/en/products/detail/hirose-electric-co-ltd/BM14B-0-8-24DS-0-4V-53/4552362?s=N4IgTCBcDaIBIEYxgQdgBwGEAqBaAcgCIgC6AvkA )

I'm not sure if there are any low-quantity assembly houses that will have it stocked. For prototypes, I just soldered the connector myself, and for production I use Makerfabs

In that case I wonder where you bought the individual connectors as they seem to be available primarily as reels which is for small amounts (small tens) unacceptable.

You can get them from Mouser: https://www.mouser.se/ProductDetail/Hirose-Connector/BM14B0.8-24DS-0.4V53?qs=QRVci0nWsCaR3TeKMbLD%252Bw%3D%3D
