Great work here. We should capture as much detail as possible, including temporal behaviour such as how long to hold it before it transitions (I might be able to find the results from a BB Passport).

On the BB Passport (evaluated via iPhone 240 fps video), the transition from 'b' to 'B' starts after 163 ms.

D'oh I counted frames, thus it should have been 163/240 = 679 ms

If you care to take influence from other phones I use this feature on Android's Gboard. The default is 300ms and it feels a little slow. 200ms is better and 160ms is the lowest I can go without messing up.
