Guitar Sniffer opens and closes
Hi, I've installed all applications needed, but when I launch guitar sniffer, it instantly opens and closes. What could it be? I have the guitar hero live xbox one dongle.
I haven't tested with that dongle myself unfortunately, so I can't say if it will actually work or not... Usually the sniffer will close like that if it doesn't detect an Xbox One dongle, or if one of the other programs in the instructions isn't working properly. Have you tried running as administrator? That's usually my first troubleshooting step. Let me know if that helps

When the controller is connected, before you try to open guitar sniffer, can you use the Xbox button on the controller to open the game bar on your PC? That would tell us if the controller is actually connected and working for the PC with the adapter that you have.
Well I wish I knew what to tell you... I've had success uninstalling WinPcap and reinstalling that for it to detect the wireless receiver. But other than that there's no real way to know what the issue is since there's no real logging. If everything is set up absolutely correctly from the instructions then it's usually that it can't detect the wireless receiver or vJoy isn't working.
Having the same problem. Installing everything works, I can control the pc with the guitar. Device Manager shows Xbox-Gaming{gerät|device} (translated). Are there any logs or dev output I could provide @TatiFKNavarro? Using the GHL xbox one guitar + dongle
Sadly there's no logging from the program itself. I actually need to set up the project again so maybe I'll look into getting logging in somehow
