[BUG] Improper substitution for inline math block

Description

Inline substitution has unpredicted behaviors in some files, usually after a significant amount of text has been added. This specific example is when using the mk shortcut, it jumps to the previous inline math block and appends a k after the block. I have had similar issues before with shortcuts such as bf and / where it seems to not fully substitute and do so in the wrong location. It is preserved after closing the app through task manager,

To Reproduce

Unclear conditions, using a somewhat large file (example attatched), and usually in a line with other inline math blocks as well.

Expected Behavior

Substitute the text mk with $$
