Feature request: Thumbnails (gallery) mode

Hello. Is it possible to add thumbnails mode for swayimg? Something like this:

I'm sure there are specialized applications that can help you manage your image galleries. This project (I mean Swayimg) is a simple image viewer only. Sorry, I don't plan to implement this feature.

Hey I just wanted to say that xnview does exactly that and it's probably what you are looking for. The cool thing about swayimg is the low memory footprint and responsiveness.

Hey there. I'd love such a thing as well, e.g. like sxiv supports it. Right click, generate thumbnails, show the thumbnails. sxiv is dead. ~~And X only~~.

Sadly there are no real options for this if you don't wanna install a myriad of packages related to full-blown desktop environments, or don't wanna rely on Xwayland.

For me this would not be about organizing images, but getting a quick overview of images in a folder and finding a particular image quicker/more easily.

Still nothing that could remotely fit into swayimg?

Yes, I already thought about this too. Such feature requires a redesign of the app architecture, so implementing may take a long time. But I have a couple of ideas =)
