Worskspace Symbol Picker not working properly in Helix

If I use open symbol picker I see all symbols in the document. If I use open workspace symbol picker nothing appears UNTIL I press any key, then results appear. This is some kind of bug.

$ marksman --version
1.0.0-8299f11+8299f11dfad36a9162e010245b380ba25001b15c

$ hx --version
helix 25.01.1 (7e87a36e)

I get the same issue with markdown-oxide (https://github.com/Feel-ix-343/markdown-oxide) so maybe it's a Helix issue?
