Melody is incompatible with Give Me Lyrics

Give Me Lyrics is an Elementary OS native program that displays the lyrics of the current playing song. It works with Music (the aptly named default music player in Elementary OS), Audacious, and it even tries to find the lyrics to podcasts from Vocal, but it does not detect anything from Melody.

Status change via MPRIS appears to be incorrect on Melody. When a song is playing the status that the application reports is Paused. I'm investigating whether the issue is related to how GiveMeLyrics accesses this information or whether it relates to Melody.

This issue affects both Give Me Lyrics and the app Lyrics. That would point to the issue being how Melody is reporting status. I've noticed sometimes that the sound applet in the upper-right corner of Elementary OS sometimes shows "paused" when songs are playing.

Also my keyboard shortcuts don't work with Melody, while they work just fine with Audacious and Music. I suspected Melody doesn't support MPRIS but now I read above it does - but apparently there is some issue there.

Edit: Ok weird, now it works fine. I guess reboot helped.
