Melody crashes about half of the time that I use it

Sorry for such a vague bug, but it's hard to know what's going wrong. Every time I open Melody it takes about 15-30 seconds to load my database. Then about half of the time, one of these things happens:

• Melody simply crashes after showing all of the loaded music, or
• Melody shows me all of the loaded music but I'm unable to interact with the app (can't click on anything, can't move or resize window) and eventually it will close on its own or I'll get the OS dialog telling me that the app is "not responding"

Let me know how I can give you more detail. I really like this app (I bought it in fact!) and would like to get it stable enough to use as my main music player :)

Hm, I just found the "Sync files on startup" option and disabled that. Based on a couple of tries this seems to have stabilized the app...

Still happening, less frequently but enough that it's kinda annoying :(
