Full-width tree view incorrect user position
Current Behavior
Steps to reproduce the behavior
- Go to the archival records Browse page (search results)
- Filter by LEVEL OF DESCRIPTION and choose an archival record which is not a top-level record
- Notice that the full-width tree view does not highlight the archival record currently viewed by the user, but a different archival record
- Bonus: in a multi-language installation, switching languages from the archival record actually redirects the user to a different archival record (depending on the AtoM version, either the parent archival record or the top-level archival record)
Expected Behavior
The full-width tree view behaves exactly like the sidebar tree view w.r.t. the current user position
Possible Solution
None found so far, current AtoM code indicates the “current archival record” value is not passed to the full-width tree view at all
Context and Notes
This is issue renders the full-width tree view completely unreliable regarding proper navigation within AtoM
