Why Ads Man
That is so fking scummy fr bruh some of the ads were some inappropiate stuff and also if I try to close the ads by pressing the close button directly I still get redirected man if you want money ask for donations and less intrusive damn ads wtf
The ads are important to fund development and costs of maintaining Art Class. You are welcome to self-host your own version and remove the ad scripts.
Please DM me on discord (join https://discord.gg/unblock) and send me screenshots of the inappropriate ads if you get them again, I can give them to the ad company to remove them.

Once you have built Art Class, simply locate yourself to v4/public/js and open preload.js Scroll to the bottom and remove this section // Ads // var ads = document.createElement("script") ads.src = "//pl22708848.profitablegatecpm.com/4e/d6/be/4ed6beda21708e4b8f45fca957964a1f.js" ads.type = "text/javascript" document.head.appendChild(ads)

This did actually happen to me, I mainly use Art Class in school, one second I'm loading up the backrooms game and the next its full on porn ads. (art-class-proxy.vercel.app is better imo)

proxies are extremely expensive to host, ads are very important to keeping the site running

but then again, he can just, idk, put less nsfw ads
I deeply apologize for the porn ads - the company we work with said we wouldn't get them, and we didn't for the entire time we had ads, just seems like now they started to pop up (they have since been removed)
I will work harder with the ad company this fall and remove them if I get any information about NSFW ads. Thanks for bringing this to my attention.
