Hmm, I see I can simply create other pools via Registry.DBPOOL2 = ... e.g. But is that OK to do? Will the pool run as properly as the first?

Yea, when I read "But you can also generate processed image files directly in your template—from any image—without adding anything to your model." in the Readme - I guessed that...

@romgar indeed, that sounds exactly like what I'd like to have. And to replace the default save() in my models with the save_dirty_fields - but that I can do ;)
