Hello. Only reporting a issue. Using version 4.1.1-0 in Ubuntu 20.04.3.

Testing copying a exact folder to another path and selecting both original and copied folder using compare content the copied folder not is totally erased. Have some files not being removed. The folder and files not are read only and owner user. The folder have more of 100 files and few sub folders. Less of 100 MB total size.

That issue happen several times when trying erase using compare content.

There are several ways to ignore certain files within a directory, one example is the small file filter in the options: image Additional filters can be set in the exclusion filters and ignore list.

Are the remaining files in the copy not part of the duplicate scan results? If you scan the original and copied folder again after deleting duplicates are any duplicates found again?

The files are binary and text.

"Are the remaining files in the copy not part of the duplicate scan results?" I not remember.

" If you scan the original and copied folder again after deleting duplicates are any duplicates found again?" Not tried it.

Only reporting the issue when used Dupeguru to remove duplicate files in 2 folders and had issues. Really have a bug. When trying again I will test using the 2 actions you replied above.
