Drag-n-drop of a font onto Type-X now “downloads” the font in my browser

Scenario

I want to preview Name Sans variable TTF via Type-X. So, I drag-n-drop it into the font override panel.

Results:

  • ✅ It does activate the font as an override, which is the intention
  • ⚠️ At the same time, the font file goes into the bottom “Downloads” bar of Chrome.

I’m not sure whether this is something we can prevent. But, it’s confusing behavior, so I’m marking it here as something that might be good to watch for / looking into further.
