0.5.0 b1 not auto adding to iTunes

Open webknows opened this issue 13 years ago • 2 comments

I'm running iSoul 0.5.0 b1 on Mac OS X 10.7.3 with iTunes 10.5.3 and have turned on the option to auto add files (audio and video) to iTunes once they are downloaded.

Although any of the files that are downloaded are being added to iTunes.

By looking at the logs at ~/Library/Logs/rainbow.log I see the following error message:

2012-02-20 20:53:55.195 iSoul[7754:4f3b] Could not connect to the iTunes library

My iTunes library is located at ~/Music/iTunes/ with the following library files and directory within it (besides the unrelated files/directories):

  • iTunes Library.itl
  • iTunes Music Library.xml
  • iTunes Media/

All of these files and directory are set with proper permission bits (0644 and 0755 respectively).

That's not the issue, iSoul seems to be unable to connect to iTunes. Does your iTunes app run correctly? I'll see if I can recreate the issue.
