Create carousel widget with contributors (on team page?)

I was just wondering, maybe it could be cool to enrich "Every contribution matters. Thanks for being part of the team!" banner with spinng photos of all contributors linked to their github accounts? What do you think?

I'll take a look at the banner and play around with the layout as if photos, links, etc were added. If I can't get it too look nice, I think we should still implement this idea elsewhere on the website (maybe within code, core, or module pages, guide or reference pages?). Actually, the concept (carousel of contributors) could probably be applied to a number of pages.

I believe it's also in the works ( =buried in my email) to automatically rotate/carousel the nobels on the home page.

I'd like to put this on the team page and a matrix of headshots on each module page. We'll also be spotlighting contributors on the front page w/ a block carousel.
