chromiumos doesn't run with kvm

I want to run this with KVM but most virtio stuff doesn't work (only the network works). Without virtio_pci I can't pass a vGPU to it (Intel GVT-g), and I get a black screen after the logo. In dmesg I see llvmpipe segfaults. The vGPU should help with this.

Also virtio disks don't work. It hangs at "loading kernel" message and I don't even see the logo.

I was trying Camd64OS_R80-12739.B-Special.7z and Camd64OS-20200522200101.img.7z.

HI have you tried the latest build? In a post https://arnoldthebat.co.uk/wordpress/chromium-os/ by Mike on 25 June 2020 said its working on VMWare and so I think qemu /kvm should probably work?

I bet Mike passed through an entire intel gpu in vmware.

Sometimes it boots but it doesn't go far from grub

currently with latest qemu it's booting with virtio_vga and virtio_gpu successfully but without acceleration. i tried daily , weekly and special images , when using gl=on it has graphical issue and huge screen flickering , not usable , needs hard shutdown. There is no issue with same option (gl=on) on Cloudready images , and has full acceleration.
