Surface GO drivers

Open eladavron opened this issue 5 years ago • 2 comments

So there are several drivers missing to make Surface Go work. Some of them can be manually installed using this guide, but a lot of them can not (like rotation). FydeOS however has all drivers working perfectly in a dedicated Surface GO build. Is it possible to port over drivers from FydeOS to a Surface GO build of Arnoldthebat?

l got the power button to work by compiling the drivers/platform/x86/intel-hid module and loading it at boot. Nothing else needed there, though suspend can get a bit wonky sometimes.

I think the gyro and light sensor is behind intel-ish-hid but I haven't had any luck getting it to run yet.

@arnoldthebat I'm still going to look into the sensor hub but do you think it'd be feasible to include intel-hid in the next build? That much is a pretty easy QoL fix and it seems to be common enough.
