ATB74Special Unable to use losetup to open an image

When using ATB 74 Special (72 works fine) I am unable to mount/open even 74 image file.

The command losetop show -fP 74_eve-recovery.bin hangs and I see errors (dmesg) saying that it took too long to read the image file and then I guess the kernel dumps since I can't do anything and Caps lock starts blinking. Same file works fine if I boot ATB 72 Special.
