Xi3 X5A: build 72 fails with "32-bit relocation outside of kernel!", 69 gives black screen
I have a pair of Xi3 X5As with the following specs (see here):
- AMD Athlon 64 X2 3400e @ dual 1.8GHz
- 2GB DDR2 RAM
- 780E NB, 710 SB w/ 6x USB, 2x eSATA
- Radeon HD 3200 (onboard) w/ DP, DVI-Ds
- 32GB storage (mSATA or internal USB)
Although AMD (from 2010), it was my belief that I could get Chromium (and then Croissant) up & running with the above specs. That hasn't been the case, however, at lease with "
Build 72 "vanilla": receive "32-bit relocation outside of kernel!" Build 72 "special": receive "32-bit relocation outside of kernel!" Build 69 "special": normal boot, "chromium" boot screen, then black screen Build 69 "vanilla": attempting now...
I'd love to have someone on here help me to understand if there's some reason any of the above specs not working. I've done a little bit of digging, but not seen any reason why it shouldn't work. Then again, Google didn't make this easy for any of us, so I don't expect a miracle.
