Driver not working for QualcommAtheros Device 0042 (rev 31) in R72-11316

Hi, I have an acer sp111-32 with a atheros QCA9377. I wanted to test the new build because you mentioned that you would add the drivers for this hardware in the R71 build (the driver is working in cloud ready and Fyde OS). It seems that the new driver ath10k_pci is loaded but no wifi. "connectivity show devices" shows no devices. When I try modprobe ath10k_pci I got [ 14.360012] ath10k_pci 0000:03:00.0: unable to read from the device [ 14.360016] ath10k_pci 0000:03:00.0: could not execute otp for board id check: -110 [ 14.360813] ath10k_pci 0000:03:00.0: failed to get board id from otp: -110 [ 14.361749] ath10k_pci 0000:03:00.0: could not probe fw (-110) I read that on archlinux they have a similar error from the kernel version that they are using https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/60531 Is there a way to fix this?

Deleting /lib/firmware/ath10k/QCA9377/hw1.0/firmware-6.bin from the ROOT-A partition fixed it for me.

This also worked for me...

Deleting /lib/firmware/ath10k/QCA9377/hw1.0/firmware-6.bin from the ROOT-A partition fixed it for me.

Same network card as OP, Acer netbook. This fix worked after booting to a Pop!_OS live USB, and deleting it (from 2 separate drives?).
