Sleep doesn't always work

The system. Doesn't always resume after idling/sleeping. When clicking the mouse the screen blinks and then goes dark. Moat of the item starting it will reboot and there is no way to trigger it to awake. Google pixelbook 2013.

Acer Aspire ES1-432 here, sleep doesn't work at all... The laptop won't go to sleep on closed lid...
