KeyCap shortcut issue

Just loading it in plain html/css java script project

if we take a look at the latex area the left arrow has two shortcuts (\larr & \leftarrow) both are supported inside the math-field but if we use the math live latex output externally then \larr is not valid shortcut or latex

how do i handle these kind of scenarios
